CHAOS

primeval state of existence, the initial void from which everything emerged. It is the most fundamental aspect of the cosmos, preceding even the gods themselves. Chaos is often depicted as a formless, yawning chasm or abyss, from which the first gods and elements of the universe originated.

Gaia and Uranus gave birth to titans, cyclope and hecatoncheires

Cyclopes

These were monstrous beings with incredible power. The Cyclopes were one-eyed giants who forged Zeus's thunderbolts, Poseidon's trident, and Hades's helmet of invisibility

hecatoncheires

The Hecatoncheires were giants with a hundred hands and fifty heads.

titans

The Titans were the first generation of divine beings, children of Gaia and Uranus. They were powerful entities who ruled before the Olympian gods. Some of the most notable Titans include Cronus (who later became Zeus's father), Oceanus (god of the ocean), Hyperion (associated with the sun), and Rhea (Cronus's wife and Zeus's mother).

CRONOS

Cronus, one of the Titans, overthrew his father Uranus and became the ruler of the cosmos.
However, he feared a prophecy that foretold he would be overthrown by one of his own children, so he swallowed each of his offspring upon birth.
Rhea, Cronus's wife, managed to save one of her children, Zeus, by tricking Cronus into swallowing a stone wrapped in swaddling clothes instead.
Zeus was then raised in secret on the island of Crete
When Zeus grew up, he challenged Cronus and the Titans for control of the universe.
This resulted in a great war known as the Titanomachy.

AFTERMATH

Zeus, along with his siblings and allies, the Cyclopes and the Hecatoncheires,
ultimately defeated the Titans and cast them into Tartarus, a deep abyss of the underworld.
With the Titans defeated, Zeus and his siblings—Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Demeter, and Hera—became the ruling gods of the cosmos.
Zeus became the king of the gods, ruling from Mount Olympus.
